Which procedures are supported right now?

Renewals of the period of stay for 技術・人文知識・国際業務 (same employer or after changing jobs, with the 14-day employer notification alongside), Student (universities, vocational and Japanese-language schools), Spouse of Japanese national (renewal and change of status) and Dependent (家族滞在); changing from Student to 技人国 after graduation; and Certificates of Eligibility to come to Japan for a 技人国 job, as a dependent, or as the spouse of a Japanese national. Part-time work permission (資格外活動) is set up alongside student and dependent renewals. Also: the after-arrival checklist (address, MyNumber, insurance, bank), the moving-house notification, residence card reissue, and a document organiser for permanent residence that follows the ISA's published lists by basis — it never rates your chances. Each one is a separate, source-checked rule set; what your employer, your spouse or your sponsor prepares is shown apart from what you prepare.

What does the permanent residence organiser do — and not do?

It lists the documents the ISA publishes for your basis (spouse, work status, highly skilled…), with the number of years of tax and insurance records each basis needs, and tells you which certificates go stale while the review runs. It asks the guideline's year questions and stops for a professional when they fall short. It does not assess conduct, livelihood or national interest, and it never estimates your chances.

Does Clerfy tell me whether my application will be approved?

No, and it never will. Clerfy shows which published requirements apply to the facts you entered, what is missing, and what to check before you submit. It does not predict outcomes, does not draft application text, and does not submit anything for you.

Is this legal advice?

No. Clerfy organises publicly available rules around your case. When a rule cannot be applied without individual judgement, Clerfy stops and recommends a professional. For decisions about your specific situation, consult the Immigration Services Agency or a 行政書士.

What about my Individual Number (マイナンバー)?

Clerfy never stores it. Documents that can show the 12-digit number are not analysed until you confirm the copy hides it, and the text of PDFs is masked before any AI model sees it.
